Author Spotlight-Andy Peloquin

Andy Peloquin

I’d like to introduce everyone to Andy Peloquin, dark fantasy author of The Last Bucelarii series, starring the bloodthirsty but strangely charming Hunter of Vormais. Andy also holds regular live chats about reading and writing topics. All in all, a super guy!

Blade of the Destroyer

I have just started reading Blade of the Destroyer and I am hooked. The Hunter of Voramis, at one with his sword SoulHunger, has a constant urge to ‘hunt.’ But there is another side of him, too. One that cares about the plight of the sick, impoverished, and elderly. I am very excited to see how this plays out. I can already tell you this will be a must-read for fans of dark fantasy.(Note: this book contains profanity and graphic violence and is not suitable for younger readers).

Lament of the fallen

Book 2 of the series is the recently-released Lament of the Fallen. I am looking forward to checking out this gem, but in the meantime, here is what reviewers are saying:

“Peloquin creates an interesting world with fascinating characters and dark setting. The journey of the Hunter is fascinating as he goes from assassin to hero.”-RJ Reviews

“We fell in love with the Hunter in Blade the Destroyer, he’s just a strong character with such determination.”-Chasity Dougherty

“It is everything you want fantasy to be, even playing with the Hero’s Journey in such a way that you may not even recognize it at first.”-Jesse Magnan

“The characters in this book are complex and interesting in ways that reveal both their humanity and their struggles, and the story itself sets up these well-written characters for a surprising set of twists and turns that will leave you flipping hurriedly to the next page.”-Allsion Hawn

To get in touch with Andy, there are several ways. He can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Goodreads. His website is http://andypeolquin.com. Check out this awesome series today and lose yourself in the world of The Hunter.
